The Brief

The brief I am working to is Laura Ashley's Wall Art competition.

From across 10 regions Laura Ashley & Housetohome invite budding & established artists from across the country to draw inspiration from their natural surroundings and convey their appreciation for the world on their doorstep, through art. Muse the subtle beauty of flora and fauna or consider the visual poetry of local history and the influence of regional arts movements. Whether inspiration is born from a stroll along the coast, a country drive or an autumn ramble, we look forward to seeing the beautiful and inspirational landscapes of your world.

I'm going to create a wallpaper or two and present it within a scene. I'll be developing my Photoshop, AutoCAD and 3DS Max skills in this project as well as researching the industry I'm hoping to work in and the kind of skills they are looking for.
